Obama's Nobel Prize win

I have no idea what the nominating committee could have been thinking when they came up with President Obama for the Nobel Peace Prize. It's like giving a 20 year old a lifetime achievement award. Wait a minute, though, I wrote one book, I must be ready for the Pulitzer. Don't get me wrong, I think Obama has certainly made strides in getting the rest of the world not to hate us, but how does that equal a Nobel Prize?

Well, they do hand those things out like candy, don't they? Yasser Arafat, Henry Kissinger, Woodrow Wilson...

And I didn't hear anyone complaining when Chewbacca (a character created in 1977) was given a lifetime achievement award in 1997.

NPR - "Secret Process For Picking Nobel Peace Laureates by Kevin Whitelaw on 10/9 is an interest article. A must read!

The response by Russ Kiekhaefer to a Poster (sockerdad) stated, but not for word by word that the Deadline for the Nobel Peace Prize was 2/1/09!! Obama's Accomplishments Todate were according to this Post was: Senate - Two year Senate Career---Sponsored "Pigford Claims Remedy Act" and "Health Care For Hybrids Act"--- ???
President - January 20, 2009 - January 31, 2009 --- Signed an Order to Shutdown Gitmo on January 22, 2009 within one (1) year-- It has not happened nor will it probably happen.

So, Kiekhaefer further states (not word for word) that Are we to understand an award will be given to anyone that has NOT accomplished anything outstanding for "PEACE" and has not fallen within the the "Time Frame" used for all PRIOR NOMINEES??
xxxxxxxxx
Well, I don't believe our President should accept the award because of the above - if he is a man of character that believes in "Truth" first - maybe after a mission accomplished would be a better way of stating it.

Giving the Nobel Peace Prize to Mr. Obama is a farce.

Anonymous said...

The Government, meaning we Tax Payers, furnished the time and the means for Mr. Obama to express his belief and also his wish list. Not too sure if this would be a paid for award or not. Many professional people have written books and are on talk shows promoting their ideas, but not to the point we have given our President (time is money). He will need to really work on his moves from here on and not get into anymore "personal" affairs that should not come under "Federal" business and require Beer Parties to make him feel good.

Simply Unreal said...

Aside from the fact that the Nobel prizes are very much ado about very much nothing, giving O"Bama the peace prize is beyond ridiculous. The nominating committee picked him saying "he's done much to reach out to the muslim world". What!! This guy has two wars going against him with another in the works in Iran and he's contemplating sending another 40 thousand troops over to kill the bast**** even faster, and this is their idea of peace! The Scandanavian liberals that mete out these prizes have, this time, accomplished the impossible. They succeeded in putting their heads both in the sand and up their As*** at the same time.

Anonymous said...

Thank You "Simply Unreal!" I could not have said it in more simple terms that all people understand and so should the Scandanavians. I do believe that rules governing an award should be followed, but if our fearless leader, can do no wrong, sees nothing wrong with the award and how it all came about..so be it. Now, who lives in a glass house (White House) and the throwing of stones on a former President? My! My!

Let's give it to good old oxycontin limbaugh. After all, he quotes in his book and all nutcases agree to the following:

Here are two quotes attributed to Limbaugh in a 2006 book, "101 People Who Are Really Screwing America," by Jack Huberman.

* "You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray (Dr. King's assassin). We miss you, James. Godspeed."

* "Let's face it, we didn't have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: Slavery built the South. I'm not saying we should bring it back. I'm just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark."

"Alfred Nobel wrote that the prize should go to the person who has contributed most to the development of peace in the previous year," Jagland said. "Who has done more for that than Barack Obama?"

I agree!!!!!

Better President Obama. Not O'Bama as one of your hypocrite posters wants to write, than that cowboy go-in-alone Bush, who had to have a "little war" to make him look like a commander in chief. Bush was a commandeering thief!

I think people will have forgotten about it by next week. I don't think he even thinks he deserved it as by his surprised reaction upon hearing the news.
I do have to laugh at those who say he should give the 1.4 million dollar prize to charity. I say, keep it. He's had to endure enough from the Obama-haters and frankly, the president doesn't get paid that much for all the work it is. What fool wouldn't keep 1.4 million dollars? I don't care who you are. You'd be stupid to give it away just to appease nay-sayers.

LAKEVILLE, Mass -- Police along with the Secret Service are investigating after a local country club discovered a symbol resembling a swastika carved into the green.

Lakeville County Club workers discovered the vandalism early Monday morning.

Carved into the green on the 18th hole was a swastika look-a-like next to President Barack Obama's name.

The vandals snuck in at night and carved their message of hate, according to the owner of the country club.

"We don't know if they did it with some type of cleated shoe, or they had some type of tool and this time of year to have that happen, it's a problem it's much harder to fix now," said Lou Mincone, the assistant manager of the Lakeville Country Club.

The manager is trying to figure out the best way to get rid of it.

Workers attempted to cover it temporarily with green spray paint; however, the symbol was carved too deep. They will now try to get turf from another area to fill in the message.

Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday morning.

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPIX) - Members of a New Jersey-based conservative group held a rally Monday morning outside of B. Bernice Young Elementary school where students performed a song celebrating President Barack Obama.

The song drew ire from many people across the nation after it was posted on YouTube last month. Critics say the taped performance - which was put on during a Black History Month assembly in February - showcases how students are being forced to idolize Obama against their will.

District officials said they became aware of the New Jersey Tea Party's protest after receiving word from the Burlington Township Police Department.

According to the organization's website, the protest was staged in order to "support the constitutional rights of children and protest against the progressive social agenda promoted by the New Jersey Education Association and the National Education Association."

In a statement issued to PIX News on Monday, the Burlington school district said the song in question was created in recognition of Black History Month and the lyrics were sent home with the children in advance of the assembly. Officials said there were no concerns or complaints prior to, during, or after the program.

The song was one of eight skits performed during the February 27 assembly. Others included tunes about Groundhog Day, the Chinese New Year, Abraham Lincoln, Valentine's Day, George Washington, Mardi Gras and Dental Health month.!!!!!!!!!

The performance was taped and posted on YouTube by someone in the audience and quickly removed in September after school officials contacted the person and said the video could pose a hazard to the students safety.

Typical of the bigots in the U.S.

Well, China and Russia and many other Foreign Countries have School Children singing their praise to their leader, why not here in the USA? Originally, I believe he asked them to tell him how they feel, by staying in school, would help him run our country, or something like that. Well, that would make any child sing with joy!

Get it straight or look like the bigot that you are. President Obama did not ask the children that. You are one in league with the devils, i.e., Limbaugh, Faux News, and the rest of those Republicans who have their hands out for money from Enron and the others who buy them, like Limbaugh who has a following of bigots and racists with his sick comments.

A judge in Georgia fined "birther" Orly Taitz $20,000 for filing a "frivolous" lawsuit to use the courts to challenge President Barack Obama's citizenship.

U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land's order came in a case in which Taitz, a California lawyer and dentist, had filed a claim on behalf of Army Capt. Connie Rhodes, who argued she should not have to serve in Iraq because Obama was not born in the United States and had no right to deploy her, the Columbus (Ga.) Ledger-Enquirer reported.

Land dismissed the suit and Taitz asked him to reconsider. Land received a letter from Rhodes saying Taitz no longer represented her.

The judge told Taitz she could face sanctions if she filed another "frivolous" suit in his court. When Taitz filed a motion for emergency stay, Land gave her two weeks to explain why he shouldn't fine her $10,000.

After she challenged that ruling, he raised the fine to $20,000.

"What she's saying is the judicial branch of government has been subsumed by the executive," attorney Josh McKoon, former president of the Muscogee County Republican Party, said. "That's not a legal argument. That's something designed to be in the newspaper."

All I have to say is "ha ha"! Another bigot bites the dust!

Yes, earn is a funny word... just like the bank bailout started with Bush and now the banks are setting records with bonuses "earned". Lot of difference between those fat cats keeping all the milk to themselves compared to President Obama stopping the stupid cowboy "diplomacy" (now that's an oxymoron) from the Bush days.

Anonymous said...

That is true Banking Officials now are receiving "Bonuses" only because they earned them. I prefer to check my hard earned money into a local bank and of course for a shorter period of time than I did 10-15 years ago. It is working out. The President and all his men including the Board remain transparent as usual. Do your homework and stop checking the grass in the neighbors lawn.

Anonymous said...

The Banking Committee consisted of? No, Bush was not included. But I do believe we had members from both parties playing with Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac. Then of course look at foreign banks that invested because they wanted to throw their money away? Don't think so. Blame Game is Over! We all are to blame - "Greed"! We can give that "Award" to the Whole World of Risk Takers.

With so much time on his hands Obama is now out raising funds for the "D" Party in New York this evening. Well, Biden was in NJ, backing his friend - but you know he likes to insure the "Tax" situation does not get overturned. I can not believe our government right now has so many problems, but the leaders keep on the move so the moss does not get attached to their history pages.

Anonymous said...

Stop checking the grass? You must be smoking it! I didn't take risks and my losses were only a couple thousand dollars in this last fiasco caused by Bush! I'm still making money with safe investments, not in junk bonds or subprime nonsense that Bush ignored!

Bush pushed the bailout, so the blame is correctly put on his head. He ignored warnings in 2005!
WASHINGTON — Struggling to stave off financial catastrophe, the Bush administration on Friday laid out a radical bailout plan with a jawdropping price tag _ a takeover of a half-trillion dollars or more in worthless mortgages and other bad debt held by tottering institutions.

Anonymous said...

Those that received funds to keep them from going under now are trying to show cause why they should be paying back the Feds. I did complain when I was on the low end back in the Clinton Adm. and the Bush Adm. - that was natural, but I was smart enough to place my funds into secure accounts. There is no progress so far during the Obama Administration, but we do not have to draw down this year.

Have we lost sight that the "Peace Prize" is for those who in the opinion of the Nobel Committee have contributed the most to create an atmosphere that will enable world peace.

There is no doubt that ending the era which had established the former national dichotomy, "You are either for be or against me" is worthy of a Nobel Prize.

Nobel Prize for Obama... We understand he will be accepting the Award (A Man of Peace?) and then ship 40Thousand more Troops to Afgan. Now how does that sit with you - I think it stinks!

Anonymous said...

Hay, a man has to do what a man has to do. He says he will get the job done - which job is he speaking about? The Wars? The Financial Situation? No Jobs? Dining on the lawn with India's Leader and all our Celebs. from Tube Land? Yep, so many things to do and finding ways to spend other peoples money is really trying. My health insurance has gone up by approx. $200 a month - the business is so-so, where do I get those funds? I believe some where on OBama's Agenda we will find a mention of "Jobs and Job Security" - well, I hope he can get around-to-it soon. Man of Peace sounds great but what is at stake for we lowly citizens? Peace comes when we have food to feed our family and a roof over our head and God on our side to guide us. Man, am I rambling tonight. I am upset!

I guess I must have been dreaming. I thought Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize - I guess I was wrong - There were tryout for a Reality Show, called a State Dinner in a Tent on the House Lawn. I thought the Obama's looked great and of course the beautiful blonde that won hands down as a major player. Mr. Biden I'm sure, will have a role - another funny picture. Now, those FBI or Security Personnel - were they for real? How much money did the show pay for the use of the White House as a backdrop for the show? All those look-alikes that were there must have cost a mint. Was that tent imported from India? We have so many imports, I guess it would not make any difference because between China and many other Asian Countries our needs are met without one US Citizen doing any work or paid for this type of work. I'm looking forward to seeing this Reality Show, I understand it will run for the next three years.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous that "Reality Show" you refer to "State Dinner", is going to be great. I think all the characters move around well, just like the TV Show about the "White House" a couple of years ago. This time most of the shots will be all over the world and not just business as usual you know with 9/11 and floods that needed to be covered during the last administration, but with four or five main characters that will talk (with a prompter),drink a few beers and smoke a siggy.
I hope it does not run on Monday Eve against "Three and a Half Men" - that would be a no-no.

The Man,Mr.OBama, and all his men/women are busy working, but only in their planning stage right now and will not be ready for a productive year until likely 2012. The news now says by 2012 our problems should be over or look a lot better, but not in the financial field. Sounds Good? I hope nothing happens between now and then, because our Treasury can not handle any more IOU to other countries that now almost own us. The other problem our outsourcing that makes money for all companies including Google - they outsource almost the whole operation.
So, when will our country see peace? If it takes our Man up to 2012 to get all his ducks in order, we more than likely will have another war in the far east and the United Nations will ask all countries to pony-up. That "Peace Award" is now not so bright and shiney - but we sure will need a lot of polish to bring back the luster - just in time for 2014.

Anonymous said...

Who hired the Security Personnel? The Social Secretary was more well known than our President. So, why did she feel her greeting of Invited Guests was not part of her job? Well, a State Dinner usually was not, in the past, a celeb function (affair?). If We are expected to pay the bill, it should be considered business/social and expect something will be accomplished in the near future. All personnel should have been trained BEFORE a function is held - can't play anything by ear and guns, like they do in Chicago.

I believe a new Reality Show should mimic our Presidents' day by day coming and goings. The last one had a little man acting like our former Presidents and all his staff running around and claiming the sky is falling. Now, this Reality Show if based on all activities from January 2009 to January 2010 would be much better than the shootups we now have, and hospitals with a staff from outerspace that has only one thing in mind and that is themself.
Maybe, if the Directors put as much time into making it look like a real life, we could understand this "Peace Award"....

So far there is very little humor shown by the Dems. when it comes to how our new President and his cabinet and foreign affairs/functions are being handled by this man of Peace. It will take a few more months for the gray matter to absorb the scenes and reactions so that it can all come down to a great weekly program for prime time TV. A friend made a comment at our Holiday Dinner that this show should be called "Obama's Dream" and published as "Change - Right or Wrong"...

The Health Bill, with quite a bit of fine tuning may work, but you and your grand and great grand kids will really pay the price. I loved the homey look during the Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Regan and both Bush administrations, when they vacationed at home. To make sure the Pres. does not have to foot the whole bill for his stay, he is visiting some Troops - now isn't that great, we need to keep a full staff at all times for this man of peace and change (not a penny mind you). The man of Peace! Sounds good, but when our President decided to run for the office of President, he already knew what would be ahead of him - there were no shockers, although, sometimes he makes it seem that way. He now needs to stop stiring the pot all over the world. Since he has taken office, more outbreaks has taken place and the number of Troops killed is uncalled for. The U.N. should be the lead in the Afgan War and we need to down-size our Troops in Iraq and try to make Peace with their neighbors. The whole problem in the area is OIL and who controls it. We do not! Find some peaceful way of getting sufficient oil through peaceful negotiations.
A man of Peace needs to listen more and preach less.

A peaceful person would consider this as his first priority. Next, he should consider stabalizing the job market - more people are getting ill because of lack of work or waiting for the iron to drop and then their whole world falls apart. A strong fence and peace of mind here on the homefront.

We have been plagued with floods, wars, plagues and lack of crops doing well in the fields - - this reminds me of when I was young and my parents said it was written.

The President needs to sit down and go over it with the two members that have their heads on straight - Baucus, Chrm. & Grassley, member of the Finance Committee. If our President would only look back to see how he voted on various health bills, maybe he then could understand why the majority of people say No, Thank You.. I'll keep what I have, and also the change in my pocket.

Mr. Pres. As a man of Peace and wanting to change things such as Health Care, why not start where it is needed - the unemployed and single people with/without children that are in need of health care - no cost - because they have NO DOLLARS to give you. Right now, with the job market measuring "O" - many people will be using the "Stone Soup Recipe" - now that is worse then the 1000 ways of preparing hamburg we used during WWII. My favorite was 1 quarter pound of meat to 2 cups of bread crumbs - pound together and fry slowly. It was good and our family of 4 did survive. I'm mostly a veg. now - you wonder why??
Now that our volunteer service men and women will be coming home and there is NO Plan for their family to make a living outside of the military - how are we going to house and feed them Mr. Obama? This is Peace we are talking about - what plans are in the works down in Washington? So many comments have been made about going into war with out a plan to EXIT - Well, what is the plan now that Mr. Bush's plan will come to pass. All the gripes made for the last 8 years of the former administration inability to get things together - exactly how are your dots doing?? 2 dots and a dash?

Some of the money will go toward Veterans Families that have volunteered to serve our Country over seas. Mr. Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met yesterday. It did not go that well behind closed doors we have been told for the Man of Peace. How we would like a country to act and conduct their government does not make it the correct way of doing things. Our President, Vice President and Ms. Hillary needs to step back and let them fight it out as they have since Biblical Times. It is the West Bank and Palestine has rights to it too - it is between Palestine and Israel and not the United States, Palestine and Israel.
Our President needs to take care of business here at home NOW. He has expressed his concerns, let them take care of their own country. We can not continue to fund this area when we can barely keep our heads above water now. Has anyone checked how much we have given to this area over the last 20 years and for exactly what? Can you see, feel, claim proudly of an accomplishment for the end result? No! Is the answer. It is built into their thought process and no matter what, it will never produce peace or satisfaction on both sides.

We need our man of peace to make sure the labels read "Made Completely in and Assembled in the USA). This will make us believe in his aim to help make people here, not abroad, happy and working.

The Nuclear War that we have feared and our children back in the 1950s learned to get under their desks when the siren sounded is over? Well, so it seems. There is only a need of a very few bombs, because one hit and that is all there is. So, our President BO is signing an agreement to downsize the number we have on hand at any given time. Now, what to do with the balance we have on hand? Sell them you say? Now, who would want to buy such an instrument of war if we are a peaceful nation?

Anonymous said...

Interesting on the Signing - but the only countries worried about the Atomic Bombs are those that already have them - how about those that have not admitted to having the resource for building them?? These small countries with not one care in the world because they know more than likely we would not drop a bomb on them - but on the other hand they would certainly exercise their right to show their discontent after their completion of building one and then doing a trial run.

Well Mr. Obama are going to back Palestine or not?? Let there be PEACE in that area at last!

Anonymous said...

We were wondering the same thing, will Mr. Obama back Palestine? Are our words hollow and it just depends on the wind or the person with more wind and the Media. There is a need to stop building on ground that is not legally not theirs and live and let live on the Gaza Strip.

A great lady is leaving the Press Corp - she has been there since time one when I moved to LP. Her statement went something like Israel should get the hell out of Palestine...well, if that is what she thought...why apologize. She is correct and no more funds should be funneled into that area. They have been fighting since Bibical Times. They need to understand you can never build on another persons property. If rights are granted to one, then that same right should be granted to another. Common ground,Gaza, is holy - be more respectful of other people and their religion.

Something for the Man of Peace to think on.
Too many children are going back to their Parents Homeland "Israel" and new homes are being built to accommodate them. Guess where the new building is taken place? Gaza? Hit it right on the head. Now who is to blame for the building on illegal ground? Non-citizens that want to go back to their parents roots - but it actually was not where their homes are being built. The Washington Reporter was correct in her statement - they should go back home, where ever that may be and leave the "Holy Lands" for people to visit and reflect, not stone and fight over.

Now how does that Nobel Prize sit with you now? Just thought I would ask as we here at the Tuesday dinner table think they should have waited for at least four more years.

Anonymous said...

Talk is one thing but to back it up with your time and your money is another. Which do you feel swayed the committee to award Mr. Obama the Nobel Prize?

Anonymous said...

Our President decided to make a statement on the side of Peace at the UN - guess he did not realize it is a Holy Day! Well, those in attendance sat quietly and listened, but just because our man wants peace, does not mean the Arab Countries see it his way. Israel & Palestine last was at Peace When? Not in our life time!

Mr. Obama and the Nobel Prize has always bin a source of questions as to how the process worked. The situation we find our self in does not convince me that how we have handled all world situations so far have not drawn us closer to PEACE. So, maybe the Peace Prize should have been thought through and the time element would have made more sense when the award is given out.

"Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me" should be the slogan of our President. If any person does not agree with our President you don't know him, according to a new article. Maybe he really does not know the citizens here in the USA as well as he thinks he does. Assuming you are always right is a flaw in character. We all have one or two, so our President needs to learn to accept all people even if they do not agree with him.

I believe Gitmo was supposed to be closed down, according to Obama's speech back in 1/09. The reason this prison was so widely used is because of 9/11 and the wars that followed. Mr. Bush should have been the one receiving an award for trying to secure our country and the use of this area was the best thing that happened to our USA.
Remember the Bay of Pigs and how our Marines were stationed there? That little corner of the world should always be under USA rule and the prison is one more way of helping to secure our country.
The Nobel Prize awarding was not thought through. I believe intent does not equal results and the time frame was also not included.
An award such as this should have been given after the fact, so I would say in maybe around 2014 it should have been considered.

Our interest in Cuba remains very important. The Bay is where our Marines were stationed when Kennedy had his big problem with the Russians trying to house their nuke there. Now, why would we close Getmo? Keep it open and use it more often to house criminals. The weather is fine and very few clothing is needed because there really is plenty of heat there. We also should update the west coast housing.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous you got that right about the clothing that would be needed. We Americans need to keep our thinking cap on at all times. Now how about some type of work for those serving time. Our Marines are their for a purpose and it is not to be a servant to prisoners. The President would make many good points in his favor by showing how prisoners can be of some use to the country they tried to do in and of course promoting peace which he won the Nobel Prize for.

A person that is in the most responsible position of all positions should never try to give advice to other rulers of other countries that are in the same position as he is. Peace can be achieved if more people would keep their opinion to themselves. The Federal Government should keep their nose out of State Run School Systems and Health Benefits that are offered. Each State is different, so what is a fix for one school, would be downgrading another. Now, the man of Peace should understand the above.

A great Cartoon in today's news paper showing Obama and his flight over Libya?? The man of Peace! Other countries are not cooperating with his image he wishes to publicize.

Too early! For what? Obama's Nobel Peace Prize on 2/1/09. Do you see how many countries are at peace with their neighbors? I felt a sense of peace when George W. Bush was President, because he had men/women that were familiar with the many countries that were trying to do the Americans in. Rice in my book was excellent and Clinton is also. But, we have entered into helping NATO and also going it alone too many times that we now have every country angry with their neighbors and very angry with the USA. A man of Peace? No! It is only in his mind, not actual.

Anonymous said...

Peace! Does our President know the difference between War and Peace? It seems when ever he opens his mouth we are helping another country that has not asked for our or the UN to help.

Maybe by the end of this year our leader will be aware that an award does not mean all people agree with the reason it was given. If he likes music - the song "Let There Be Peace on Earth and Let Begin With Me" should be played every day in his office...well maybe not there as he hates to sit in that space for some reason, but in the back of his mind it would come through and maybe guide him so that "THE AWARD" might might have some real meaning.

This Labor Day our President should be in Washington making his words heard around the USA and the world. A man who wants all people considered equal no matter what station in life they find themself should be neutral. We all work and this is the day to celebrate a day of NO LABOR. So, stay home Obama with your family and speak from the White House to all people.

Mr. Obama is a "Politician" the real type that has never seen a person he could not hug and promise the best. Now, if the gentleperson that decided on the Nobel Prize thought that would bring "Peace" to the world he was right-on. Now, as for running the country - sorry!

Anonymous said...

Making a statement to the press about all things in the world has not been a blessing for this Nobel Prize Winner. Most of the times he has caused more distrust. A need to say nothing really would help our statis in the world Mr. Obama.

I believe Mr. O'Bama is trying another approach to make Peace in the World. First, do away with the Christmas Tree - done!! Do away with any type of Religion on Thanksgiving Day by not including any mention of God when giving "Thanks" done!! When asked to which church/affiliation he was a member - no answer, except when he at one time when he was running for office mentioned the United Church of Christ. So, what's to be backward about it?? Oh, maybe it is not true?? Well, if his way of keeping God out of his/our home and also trying to do exactly the same in all countries he visits, will make this world more Peaceful it would be a starting point for why he was awarded this prize in the first place.

The Obama's Nobel Prize - Peace! I have been checking the plus and minus on what he has done in his lifetime and also since he became the President. Right now he has updated his resume and including clown, antique care and also a entertainer (singer). Well between he and his wife with the fitness clubs and whatever training is completed by the time he leaves office- a matter of a few months - they should be financially situated in a fine position. Yes, Chicago is where all of his talent will be appreciated with all of his old budies running the state or selling tickets for a dinner with the former President and his lady. No, I did not say they were selling tickets to serve as a Senator or Congressman from that area, after all that has been tried and all it got the gentleman is a roof over his head, heat, clean sheets, three square meals, medical care and no new taxes to be paid for his term in the "Big" house. So, No! Someone has done that and is now serving the time. But just think there must be some award out there that would fit such a great performer.
