Trapped again

Well, I sent a reporter out to the meeting. Check out tomorrow's (Sat. Oct 6, 2007) Times Herald.
While no one on council admitted to living in another municipality apparently a gentleman did get up and ask that if there were to be a vacancy on council he had just the man to fill the seat.
Come on, now, this isn't rocket science. Does the councilman, Mark Carrig, live in Trappe or not?
If you'll just sign on to the blog and say you live in Trappe we'll let the issue drop. That is, if that's not your townshouse sitting vacant like everyone seems to think it is.

Stan, The gentleman from Trappe that challenged the supervisor must have taken his clue from Lower Providence. One resigned and the Board appointed on the spot.
Politics ta ta.

I think I know the reason why you think Trappe is worthy of front page treatment. See www.pvpa.blogspot.com. Are you really best friends with Mark Marino as everyone tells me you are?

If you'll just say on your blog that you are not best friends with Mr. Marino we'll let the issue drop.

It isn't vacant. I am a neighbor and I have seen Mr. Carrig there on a daily basis.

Carrig may have moved or he may not have, so what. He wants to stay connected to the Borough of Trappe and the way he does that is he drives from his Collegeville residence and sits on Trappe Borough Council. He still has his house in Trappe, even though he has a for rent sign up in the window. No big deal.

Praise the Lord Times Herald covers an event in Trappe that is a first, all they do is trash our Borough. Is there any reason why your reporter did not report the issues completely that took place during the 3 hour Borough Council meeting for the public instead of a very small segment of it? Did your reporter stay for the full meeting or part of it? Since he did not I assume he got his marching orders from Stan Husky (editor) to look into one issue and nothing else. This is an example of bias reporting to the fullest. You should be proud of yourself Stan.

Why don't you just call the guy and ask him yourself Stan or leave him alone or give him some evidence that you have. Why keep harrassing the guy by looking in his windows? Are there not laws against that? Geez!

Are you best friends with mark Marino? Did he put you up to this? This guy at www.pvpa.blogspot.com says you are. Come on Stan tell him your not! Right?

Stan
Why are you so ashame to tell your writers what township or borough you live in?Are you ashamed where you live? Or by reviewing where you live will confirm your newspaper bias.

2 words describe those comments below:
SMOKE SCREEN

Notice how they blame Stan, Marino & Times Herald and others, then blogs with fake authors instead of focusing on the real issue? Craig, I mean Carrig doesn't live here anymore, people. Period.

Stan, I don't think this is a smoke screen, it sounds like a lot of HOT AIR! I'm not interested in which town you live in, I'm only concerned about where my Borough Councilmen live. If Carrig's home is up for rent and he lives outside of the Borough with his new wife, as it appears, it would seem that he no longer resides in Trappe. Either that, or he and his new wife are planning on taking in borders. Come on!!!
It's a question of ethics and the law. That IS a big deal! Should a councilman be permitted to vote on Borough issues if he no longer lives here?

The fact that Stu Strauss, council president is unable or unwilling to control the outburst and outragous behavior expressed by a councilman who shouts to a Trappe resident "shut the hell up" is disconcerting. This type of unchecked behavior by our elected officials IS newsworthy and is important to the residents of Trappe. Anyone who thinks otherwise has something to hide. I have yet to hear of any appology from this council or it's president???

STAN,
Well, today is election day and in Trappe there will be the usual greetings at the polls. The four candidates that were elected in the primary will be there as well as the incumbent council member that is attempting to get written in.

I guess it does not matter if the incumbent does not get enough write in votes to win a council seat because at the next council meeting, November 13th,the current member who has lived outside Trappe since September, will relinquish his seat and offer it up to the TWO TIME LOOSER.

Guess who looses?
