Found money in Norristown

OK folks, we're trying to track down the alleged $10 million that was found in an account somewhere that no one, not even the feds who took nearly every piece of paper out of borough hall in the raid, was able to find.
So far, we're not coming up with a single dollar, much less 10 million of them. I'm not sure how this rumor got started but if anyone has anything that will help us track it down respond as soon as possible.

I am not buying it. Sounds like another hollow rumour started by the local gadflys with nothing better to do with their time.

Certainly the Manager, David Forrest would know.

Maybe the head of the F.O.P. would know how the rumor started. A word from either would end any speculation.

Stan, Do you have a reporter working on this? It's been 2 weeks and no confirmation or denial. Very suspicious.

It's dead, we know it was a hoax. How about covering the corruption inside that led to the theft of 16k in money from the meters.

Dead? Hoax? We? Very interesting I'll bet there are some who will say differently.

I heard The Times Herald has new information on this. Is this true? And what is the new information? Does the money exist or not?

Mr. Huskey, If the money is accounted for in the yearly audit, then it wasn't hidden. Maybe you should check to see if there are transcrips from the FOP contract arbitration that should shed some light.

Weeks later and there is no comment from the council, auditor, the F.O.P. or Mr. Editor about the status of the $10M or $11,000,000.

Is there any progress? Will the cash remain buried? Should all this remain quiet and secret until after the election?
